disc and pad combos

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
tarox fast road pads, standard discs & braided hoses, ^drilled discs are a waste of money. how fast is your valver and what you use it for are big factors on how much to spend. i have the yozzasport kit, awsome stoppage.

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
brembro discs, performance friction 97 pads & braided hoses (with super dot 4 i think), went for a burn earlier then i had to drive the missus fiesta she has new pads but i still nearly rear ended somebody cos i it was like standing on a wet sponge compared to mine, they squeak but for the stopping power i can easily live with it.

^^

The do need to warm-up before they're at their best... plus they're seriously powerful.

For something a bit more road-friendly, get the identical setup, but use DS2500 pads instead (also available from Yozzaspt / demon-tweeks).

I think they said the squeaking was down to the pads. Maybe the DS2500's would be quieter?
