Do I have a decat?

My yozza is loud....like deafening most the time.

Some stories on here seem to suggest it's loud but not massively.

I'm starting to wonder if its decatted.

It appears to have a cat though, but I know some people smash the insides out.

Reason being...if I polish the chrome tips, they are filthy within a few mines again.

Anyway to tell without taking it off? Is the sooty tips a clear sign??

They are loud exhausts, but without a pic of your cat/decat it's impossible to say.

Try and get a pic of the cat like Dave says, it might have a silenced decat. @gambit had a Yozza with cat and the tip were never sooty really.
One of these is a perfect fit for cleaning the yozzas

Yozza normally do get sooty when decatted though

I'd hazard a guess it's decatted, only way to find out is take it off.

Try and find a past owner and ask.. Theres about 4 people on here thats had my car!

Cat looks stock to me..but you can see the colour of the tailpipes, only polished the inners 200mile ago

Mine has a cat and gets sooty too...I was told they all do that.

You should be able to tell if its not got a cat just by standing at the back of the car an smelling the exhaust fumes

Has it had the pops and bangs ECU map stuck on it, that'd filthy up the exhausts pretty quick.

Looks normal to me - I would expect most cars to have exhausts that colour after 200 miles.
