Do I need an adapter for my headunit?

Used to have the adapter that went in there, is it needed? If it is, anyone know if I can pick one up from Halfords? Thanks.

Yes you need a little bullet looking Areal adaptor, usually about £2

Halfords will do them, I might have one kicking about somewhere, but TBH I'm never going to find it when I need it !

I needed one for my headunit when I got mine... I'm sure this is the one I got... http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_176311_langId_-1_categoryId_165626 But I only paid £2 for it! Gone up a touch..

That's the one, a fiver huh... not too terrible I guess. Wonder why it's even needed though tbh, it looks like it's the same size hole in it, that's why I wondered if it could just be cut down!
