dammit. ok. while on the subject of suspension/steering jom&terry, the handling is a bit wayward on slightly bumpy roads. visually the wishbone and arb bushes and tie rods look ok, and not much play if any at all in the steering. if i get my car tracked/aligned, would it then be a bad idea to start replacing bushes?
no don't. i had a vectra sri last year and it failed it's mot on broken front susp springs. came back with non sri spings. looked like it was doing a wheelie. wasn't a dealer, but just don't
is there a visual difference between the cup and ff dampers? i guess i can compare with the old ones once they're off.
should i be looking at replacing any bushes when it's off, and would it be a good idea to get some new bolts?
Don't know if this will help but I just ordered two new OE rear shocks and two new rear OE springs from North West Performance... £50 each INC VAT for the shock with postage of £8! (Springs were £35 each!)
Mine is not a cup though! Might be worth giving them a shout to see how much the cup ones are!
