Do i really need a new flywheel after insalling a new clutch?

Car  Clio DCI 106
Hey do i really need a new flywheel after insalling a new clutch? Master clutch cylinder went. New clutch while its out yes but flywheel? Ripoff?

Am I being ripped off. 2005 Clio dci s?

The fly wheel will have tolerances that can be measured. If its out of spec and wobbles too much then needs replacing.

If it was my own car I'd change a flywheel irrelevant of the price. If it's not done many miles I would genuinely just skim it at an engineering shop though.

On previous cars (subaru impreza and Mondeo ST220) I'd just get it skimmed to make sure the mating faces are clean and true. From memory getting it skimmed only costs about £40.
