Do MK3's run a JC5 ?

Since my engine is from the MK3, the 1.2 16v, will it still be running a JC5 gearbox ?

It was never running a JC5 in the first place. The 1.2/1.4 16v lumps in the Mk2 use JB1 boxes, the JB/JC boxes aren't fitted to any of the new renaults afaik barring the clio campus so they'll be dead and buried when they stop making it (in the UK anyway).

Although the JR/JH series boxes are very similar so they're still very similar just cable shift/hydraulic clutch. The ND0 is the way forward.
