do performance cam belts make any difference??

as the title says, do they effect performance?do they have a shorter life span??

Have you found a company that will sell you a performance cambelt? don't think they exist for clios

I would imagine they would only really be required if you run a silly silly light fly wheel and a filthy set of cams

Gates manufacture the highest quality belts available, and thus are used for most manufacturers as OEM.

Unless details are published about comp or racing cambelts, then the likelyhood is that they are gates belts anyway. If they really are contructed differently and stronger, the manufacturer would be pretty keen to point out how and why.
