Nope. I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know how sh1te the standard 172 exhaust is, change it soon before it rots and falls off. Mine is hanging off and sounds like I'm driving a tractor.
My very first mod was a Magnex. Never made any difference to performance what so ever. No loss and certainly no gains
IMO unless your going to carry out breathing mods or mapping and are only buying it for the sound stick to just a back box
The standard system maybe made from kitkat wrappers..... but is not 's**t'. No aftermarket systems give any major proven gains, some even lose the 5k kick.... The BTB on the 182 had alots of development, but gained only a few bhp, and ths is considered one of the best. This suggests that the standard system is very efficient. Also alot of aftermarket systems seem to resonate big time
standard 172 exhausts are shite end of..
They go rusty they look ugly and they fall off cuz the
backbox is to heavy..
Mine fell off my clio 172 cup.
First it got 2 holes in and sounded like i was driving
a aeroplane then the f**king thing fell off and was dragging
along the floor...
I had to cut the exhaust mount just to get it off..
Shite im replacing it with a stainless steel which all exhausts
should be made of....
hhmmmmm. So your say willing to fit a system that could lose you power (eg powerflow)'cuz its made from stainless init?' Your system was probably new with the car which will at least make it 3yrs old.
Once I had my GDI stealth fitted i pulled more on my mates 182 than i used to with the standard exhaust , even he admitted the difference is now more noticeable... make of that what you will. It defo feels a lot more responsive .. my only other mod is a ITG panel filter ... mates 182 is totally standard.
