Do you need a silenced De-cat

Ive got a magnex cat back whic im lookin to get a decat on.

How much louder will they make it and is it worth gettin a silenced one?

The silencer in the centre section and the back box will mean you dont need to silence your decat.

i heard decatting makes it significantly louder!

let me know if you do it in the next couple of days as i have a Magnex and have a de cat ready to go on when its through the MOT. Should be about a week or two.

Wanna know how loud it makes it cos its about right for me at the mo and dont want it alot louder. a bit is ok though.

It will be slight louder but if youve already got a performance cat-back on its unlikey youd notice the extra noise......

Goog to hear.

Four bolts to take em off. Mine are quite new bolts so wont have any problems undoing them but if youve never taken them off then they will be a bugger to get off. Best bet is to try and get them to shear off. or cut them off with gas, or get two mole grips, one on bolt one on nut and try and turn them in oppasite directions, should shear off if youve got a good hold of them.
