Do You Wave At Other Clios

Not if they are stationary in a car park with nobody in them of course (youd be joining Frank Bruno at the funny farm if you did that!) but if you see another one do you flash or wave?

I always try to make eye contact to see if they are likley to wave back.

there alot of pricks round my way in 172s so they get a finger if anythin. other than that the only clios round here are 1.2s driven by old biddies, they dont even get asecond look. 16v and willys get a jealous look but id look stupid wavin at them!

I wave or flash but have found that if its a bloke with a woman it can cause trouble!!!

Theres a very nice silver valver near me, but the bloke looks at the floor rather that at me when we pass, coz the first time I saw him I smiled and his girlfriend laid into him....for gods sake, Im old enough to be his older sister(!)

Went past another citrus green clio with Vix on the way back from high beach and the fellas in there waved at us!

I havent seen many with ClioSport stickers tho - might wave if I did!

Waved at Glenn the other day tho!

The most recognition I have had from a clio owner was when I was stopped at a set of lights and the pulled up next to me with their windows down, I heard the guys mate say "hey look thats a 2 litre !!" and his mate going "cool" but thats it.. i dont think they even knew it was a 172.

I will sometimes Flash (my headlights) at other clios if there not old couples and if i can see that its been lowered or had alloys put on it or something. Otherwise i dont bother.

1 guy in a cup flashed me once, i see a few valvers round my way you just get the look ive got a clio too from them and i cant remember the last time i saw a 172 believe it or not, they are very rare where i live. i always flash the only other williams in ayrshire, guy is brand new.

I now wave at all road users so people dont think Im being a snob because I drive a 172 and not Max Powerd 1.2. I do get a couple of strange looks, but I dont know why

If I see a cliosport sticker then yeah of course I flash. Sometimes with the headlights as well.

I think if you flash someone whos not in cliosport/not "into" the car they might think your either gay or got road rage.

if u can get eye contact for a bit i.e on the same side of the road on a duel carridgeway or summat ur likely to get a nod or summat but in them scenarios its race on if rd clear hehe

u never get time to catch there eye really if there travelin in the opposite direction

There arent many of the Sunburst Yellow Mk2 Ph2s around, and we tend to flash at each other... but when I get my Cup, itll only be Cups that get a flash. Snobbish? Yes. And...?
Actually I was quite taken aback when someone flashed me for the first time... I checked around, but there were no other cars on the road, or people on the pavement either.
