id say dodgy to be honest. But still in most cases you pay for what you get so if you didnt pay more then £150 thats the sort of job i would expect tbh. How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking . . .
Who did them fella ?
No worries bud. Have you spoken to them yet?
Did you go via Fred ?
I had exactly the same with some Cup turinis a few years ago from lab tab, full of drips, flies etc/ Ebayed them in the end and bough a new set lol. (ps 182 cupped wheels look better )
What condition were they in before??
Blisters, corrosion etc etc?
24hrs
i'll post pics up of the 3sets i've just had done later today
Some people have totally over-reacted in this thread and I don't think appreciate what work goes into refurbing.....i.e a lot of time.
Granted it was not a first rate job in places, but it's hardly a disgrace as some people have hinted.
Glad you've got it sorted and it's reassuring to know some companies are extremely accomodating to their customers and are happy to sort out issues asap.
I have also refurbed a set myself and I know just how much work it is, however professionals use tools that significantly cut down the man hours required, yet I can usually get a better finish :S
This is because companies get greedy and all they care about is volume rather than quality and reputation.
