After getting back from my holiday i thought id take the Clio out for a longish run to clear its lungs, however its raining, and ive noticed how crap the brakes are in terms of feel and confidence. The actual stopping power is acceptable but the cars all over the place. This is from about 80/90 down to 30/40. Ive read about the Contis (dynamique OE) expanding under braking which should help, so im even more disappointed!
Ive noticed, from new, that theres always more brake dust on the left front wheel than the right, by quite a lot, it seems as if simply too much force is being given to the left wheel compared to the right, if this is the case, what bits need sorting?
Any other ideas welcome..
