Dodgy Noise.........

I love the cast iron reliability you get from clios.

When stopped or at low speeds a slight creaking noise is coming from the steering. This only happens when turning the wheel around 5 - 10 degrees.

The car is also making some creaking noises when stopping and setting off.

Basically, its fucked.

Any ideas?

Same for me, really irritating, if you boot it away and come to a slow then pull away you can hear it??? Yes?

Top strut mounts. Mine did it. I had a specialist do a "fix" for it, but it's now worse than before lol.

mine did this. Found my cv clip was undone so reclipped it. Which fixed it for a bit then did it again to find my driveshaft needed replacing. since then no problems

They're about £40 each side for a set of new ones when I last bought some.

If your capable of removing, stripping and refitting a front strut then yes.
