dodgy steering

i have to fight with my steering all the time fast or slow, when i brake or accelerate quickly it pulls to both sides, serv and the warning light for the hanbrake sometimes comes on and when stationary if i turn the wheel there is a loud clunk coming from the centre of the front in front of the front axle, the tracking needs done (uneven wear on the tyres) anyone had this problem or know wat it could be, also anyone know where i could get a haynes type manual for a 182

Sounbds like a load of potential issue firtly I'd say a damaged driveshafst/CV joint then it could be tracking and also a loose abs sensor.

There no haynes for the 172 the normal manaul cover most of what you'd ever want there the same cars realy.

I've got a file for the 2.0 engine but you won't realy need it there a guide here as to what the tracking should be.
