Does any body know GY55 UXX on auto trader?

Good evening all

As above really, spoke to the guy selling the car all seems good, just wondered if any body knew the car etc.

I've got a 182 that's been at the side of the house for 4 years but just want one I can enjoy now, I've been to look at 3 in two weeks and none of them was really any good for me, so seen GY55 UXX on auto trader and done the checks and all seems ok, I'm thinking of going to view it later on n the week.

Hi there, also a newbie here.

Just wondering if you did go and look at the car and what your thoughts were (as I can see it is still on autotrader).

I did notice in the advert it says "mentioned on the forums" but I couldn't find anything either!

Hello Matt

No I didn’t as the guy is saying that it’s had a gearbox rebuild and when I asked if he had the paperwork he said know it’s all been lost, but he did say he rang the garage and they said it’s not been done by them! Which didn’t fill me with confidence as the garage had supposedly done the cambelt, dephaser and fluids.

I found the cars advert on this site from 2014/15……

The seller is very helpful and has sent me a number of photos and a walk around of the car, it’s just to far for me to travel as there’s no paperwork to back up the advert which is a shame as it looks a nice car.
