Does anyone know this car?

Car  Clio 182 RB
As the title suggests does anyone on here know this car for sale on Pistonheads? --> LINK <--

Seems a fair price, I've never done a cambelt on any car myself so may attempt it. (well aware the damage I could do if I get it wrong)

Search on here, but yeah pretty much. Or it's easy to get it wrong. The timing is key on these cars.

Most specialists charge around £600

What are you wanting the car for? If its to make money you might struggle.
Needs additional work after the cambelt jobs and then you're looking at a high mileage silver 182. I'd check to see if its cup packed too.

want it for the Mrs she loves my one but I really don't want her getting behind the wheel of it, sounds bad but I havent let her drive any of my cars except company car.

Doesn't sound bad at all, my mrs is scared of the idea of driving my car. Didn't stop her reversing into it

I'd go take a look at it, but its not the most desirable colour. Price is reasonable, but just check out the bodywork as these are the costly things to sort after the engine, obviously. I'm sure you know of the issues owning your own though.

she keeps asking to drive it and I know she'll do somthing to it, can't even open a car door without hitting things let alone driving.

yeah silver not the best but easy to keep clean, if i can nick it for £1000 i think it could be a good shout for her plus I'm off till January now so it would work out well having something to do.

If the belts aren't due don't bother doing them early, just get in and drive it.

It's missing the cup spoiler so certainly doesn't have both complete cup packs
