Does anyone know what this does? (wiring pic)

As title, does anyone know where this connector below is for/what it does? Not sure whether it was already disconnected for a reason, or whether I have ripped it out when taking out the airbox and not noticed. Ta

Looks like the bonnet sensor?

Would make sense with it being in that position, bonnet sensor as in alarm goes off if its opened when locked?
