bottom ball joint for the hub on a 197?

R Sport are unable to get them at the minute and Renault will only sell the whole unit.

Mike Woodford was planning to replace just the ball joint tomorrow but R Sport rung this morning and said they've been unable to source it

I had to buy the unit when I replaced mine. Have a look on Clio197.net there was a post on there a couple of weeks back one of the guys has a ball joint at the minute and was offering to send it to one of the guys.

Clio197/200 is same ownership as ClioSport AFAIK.

I think Arronsautos in derby came up with a solution might be worth seeing if they will sell you the part.
