does my clio have auto lights/wipers? pics

Quick question, does my car have auto lights and wipers?

i found the options list and it sais all 2002 clio's and on had them as standard but im 99% sure mine doesnt!?:S

Hasn't even got the variable speed intermittent? My old 51 1.2 had no auto lights or wipers but had the variable speed intermittent wipers still though.

It should have if its a dynamique....auto wipers and auto lights are standard fitment on the dynamique...

My old 2003 dynamique had auto wipers and auto lights...

sorry to be simple...but do you mean to make the wipers go faster and slower?

because you just flick the stalk up and down?

Nope, was standard after sometime early 2002, my old 1.2 dynamique+ on a 51 plate didn't have them.

Sorry said the wrong thing I meant the variable delay intermittant, varies the gap between wipes. Debateably better than auto tbh.

For auto lights, switch the ignition on and switch the head lights on and off twice. If it has they will beep. As for the wipers put the stalk on the first click and pour water over the screen. If it goes fast and then you have auto wipers.

ive got the auto lights and wipers its an optinal extra not standard on the 02 plate clios the stalks are different from mine aswelll mine have an extra twist to them by the looks of it

It was an option untill I think mid 2002 when they put it on as standard and has since been removed again for the new clio.

yeh but in 02 it was an optional extra and on 52's it came standard

Would've been made before that though, if it had been ordered around that date then it probably would've had them.

My 53 "extreme" 1.2 doesnt.

The extremes are based off the dynamique with a few things missing hence the lack of auto lights/wipers.

Depends early extrerememe were just dynamics with a CD player as standard (dynamiques didn't have them like that)

Later cars were much lower spec based almost on authenics than Dynamics spec wise.

If you've got no auto lights/wipers don't crack your own windscreen to get one on insurance with a sensor, you'll have to pay £200 for a UCH :lolup:
