I bought an Aquagleam this year, it worked well to start with but after a few washes they lose their effectiveness!

Commericial filter systems cost a fortune so you can't expect endless miracles from a £40 filter....

Probably 5 or 6, but then I don't know how hard the water is here? Also it gradually runs out rather than suddenly not working...
