does the paint fade if remove stripes?



  K20 EG Hatch
on a racing blue 182 thats a may 05, if the stripes were removed would the paint be faded?

Give it a proper good clean, maybe PC it? i doubt you would see where they'd been to be honest... it takes along time for colour to fade really, and its such a light colour anyway..

I'm sure a couple of people on here had problems with them, once taken off. I dont know how well they tried to bring the colour back tho...

yeah would deffo sort it if there was any difference.

A PC wont sort any faded paint problems as the colour will have faded under the laquer.

I doubt there will be much paint fade on such a snew car. Modern clearcoats are pretty good at protecting the base coat from UV damage.
 
If you are thinking of removing them i'd go it now as if you leave it a while (prob a few years tbh) the paint will have faded.
If not just leave them there.
As the car's so now I don't think you'll hava problem.
