Just noticed my car has a massive ticking coming from the engine. anyone else's engine do this? wondering if its a normal thing or if i shd be looking at taking it to a garage to get it looked at.

its a ph2 172 btw.

on srs note is it meant to do tht or not does anyone know? lol...prob get it chekd out, had all the belts done which i wuda thaught it would be if they had not been done. used to belong to sum1 on the site before i got it so its been very well maintained.

I very much doubt it's anything to worry about.

Mine ticks when it is warm and at idle and has always done it from new.
Don't know what it is and don't really care tbh.

just got home now and noticed mine ticks on idle its a 1.2 8v

mine does it. no worries mate. its not massively loud anyway
