Don't know the password to a RAR file

I have downloaded a RAR file and it is password protected. Sadly I don't know the password but need to get access to the file (its an MP3).
Does anyone know I can do this?

Normally come with a readme with the pword in it or a link to the pword. Or NFO.
Is it an album?

There are software packages that crack the password the protection. They are normally brute force attacks and can take a while.

Might be worth a search for that then another one for the "free" versions on the tracker pages....

Yeah, brute force is the only way... Will take a while, and the software usually costs...

Tried a piece of software last night using the brute force method but it didn't work
Might have to give up on it and buy it from a shop lol.
