Door cards

Would it be easy to recover my own door cards?
Is it as easy as taking them out and removing original fabric, spray glue the door cards and apply the material, stapling the excess materail to the back of the door card and then refitting or i am being stupidly hopeful and it is a professional job ?

Well i did mine on a mk1, but i made a new insert that turned out to be too think but using a thinner wood and bonding them in to the card did it for me!

i have taken the fabric of a mk2 ph2 clio took 4 hours each with a stanley knife blade and tub of thinners to try and melt glue . but was trying to keep the underneath in best condition as i could to paint . shunt take aslong if you are recovering them though because is dont matter what they look like under neath.
let me know how u get on and some pics of retrim as i fancy doin it
