Door droppin'?

A bit of a strange one.

Do the doors drop on Clio’s?

I have ph1 low mileage 172. Its never been crashed or damaged.
However the when I open the passenger door it marginally rubs off the front ring. Same on the drivers side but not as bad.
I’ve had mk2 Golf’s in the past & some of them had this problem.

Just wondering if any of you have come across this as its pi55ing me off and im unsure what to do. :dapprove:

Over age mate with the weight of the door it can drop slightly. If you open it all the way up and lift the door up from the bottom quite forcefully, it'll fix it for a little while.

Failing that take it to a bodyshop and get them to fix it. Hours labour to realign the door. :)

Front ring ? Wing ?!

What do the shut lines look like on the door ??

Doesnt take more than someone to lean on the top of the door to bend the hinges a little. :dead:

sorry i meant wing!

Thanks for the replies. :) When i used to have mk2's it never bothered me as although the door had dropped it would never rub.

There's no play in the doors though. Door shut lines are ok but seem to have marginally moved closer to the wing on both sides over the last 6 months. (my eyes could just be playing tricks on me though).
