door handle colour coding help

Got a spare set of door handles off a non sport for mine, i was going to colour code them

was planning on taking them to pieces and putting them back together when painted, however they have the bar securing the pieces together

what would be the best way of painting them?

No worries I used a screwdriver and hammer to knock the pins out
