DOOR LOCK ON CUP

My new Cup has a door lock for a key only on the drivers side.

Why is this? Is this how they are made?

Yes....l am slightly worried

Sorry jon.....its on the passenger side.What does it do and why only on one side?The cars a 53 plate...brand new.

no no dont worry, they are french cars, so in france theyd be on the drivers side.

The single lock is useless too - you cant activate the alarm or lock all the doors or boot!

one lock is left in so you can get in the vehicle if the plips fail or the car battery went flat etc. if there wasnt a lock left in somewhere you would have to break in it if the above failed.

Thats what l thought JAY172 but ive also noticed that the car in EVO which was run for a few months has 2 locks and also my side indicators are clear whereas the EVO car has orange ones !!!

End of production of this model maybe?
