door speakers??

got some new door components today. which is the best way to route the new cable for them. there is a like rubber which takes original cables iinto the door but tried to remove this and it is stiff as anything n wont pull off. and dont wana force it and break anything. any ideas if theres screws holding it in place or not. car is clio billabong 2003.

if its rubber, itll just have a lip all the way around by the door and by the A post, just squeeze the end of it so the lip pops out and you can get to the wires then

Disconnect the tweeter in the dash and use the wire in the door as an input wire on the crossover. Then fit the mid in the door and the tweeter in the door and run a wire to each from the crossover. then you can keep crossover in the door which is Far Far easier than runnin cables into the door!!!
