Door Speakers

Hello guys,
Im looking to get some new door speakers as the current ones have blown.
I've been looking at various ones but they are 17".
The size of the current speakers are 13inch if i'm correct?
Is this true and if so will i need any door adapters of any sort so i can fit the 17inch ones?

The standards are 13cm yes but larger speakers can be fitted.

IIRC there are two guides on here on how to do it, ill have a look for you.

on mine the windows come down behind the opening for the speakers, i don't understand how you did this with out causing problems?
