Door warning light coming on under heavy braking

As above , door warning light coming on , on my dash cluster when I heavy brake
its not turning the interior light on but it's dam anoying seeing a red light flash on and off

changed both door plungers but still no luck. Has the boot got one?

I think it does. Mine does anyway, but I don't have a door warning light.

iirc the boot one is part of the lock mechanism

I'll check the boot lock tonight, I've tried closing it more violently but still no joy. If I try any harder the glass will smash lol
