double din conversion

Is there any way to convert a single din clio 2 (2002) to a double din system? Such as taking a double din center console from a smashed car and fitting it to the car. Is there any other clios which come with this as standard that i would be able to get my hands on?

I don't think the Clio 2 has a double din for any model/market.

no its true they dont do double dins, but you could take out the hazard ,central locking and heater switch out,relocate them and then take out the frame for the faceplate,where the switches were originally,and that may be the possible size of a double din

someone did a dash conversion in a ph1 172 with a kind of double din setup (it was one big screen) built into the dash.

Mine pops out - better for security IMO

What model of clio is that in second pic ?

As the fuel and water gauges look different :S

Is it a diesel going by the 5000rpm rev counter ?

Yeah it's a 2004 dci 80 Dynamique
