Downstream lambda

Am I right in thinking the downstream lambda is only required to test if the cat is working correctly? It has no bearing on fueling or anything else?

phase 1 should only have 1 sensor. Pre-cat.

Maybe some very late 'Y' plate cars would of had them, depends which loom you have. But yes you are correct
