Dremmel - still the best?

I am just doing my Xmas list and thought it was about time that I got a multi purpose tool

Is the Dremmel still the best one of it's type or has something else superceded this now?

dremmels cannot be beaten the cheaper ones dont have as much torque. ive had mine for 5 years now never failed me
