So today I had a few things to do. Was supposed to be doing an enhancement detail on a peasant spec Mazda 3 that’s in a bit of a state but that got cancelled. The wench’s Alfa needed a service and clean, so I thought I’d do a dressle review too.
The paint hasn’t seen a clean in nearly a year because the wench is scared of driving it to the unit. It also only does around 10 miles a week and is parked under a tree. Next week will have a whole day on because it is farking farked!
I started with the service, which lead to the bay being cleaned and dressle’d followed by the clean. Slightly weird order but I doin’t know how much time I had.
So as you can see, pretty minging…

(I know I forgot to wipe a bit of excess off from the battery, it's what comes of rushing )
The product itself is fairly good, I’ve used it before on my dash and it lasts, doesn’t attract dust, feels nice etc.
Just spraying then leaving it on to go off leaves it very tacky and horrible and spraying on, leaving to settle then wiping takes too much of the product away. Layering it up works fine but can just be a bit time consuming. It’s safe to say it’ll be a product that will be in cupboard until something different comes up. The whole spray it on the grills and leave it is a massive bonus for me.
I would have done the interior in this but it’s matte so would’ve looked s**te.
The clean…
Not bad for nearly a year of grime..

All shuts attacked with Verso, tbh they were pretty much spotless. The car was then dried and because I was running out of light and my toes were bloody freezing I chucked some C2V3 over it until I get chance to decon, machine and seal.

So yer, rubbish thread is rubbish, but that was my day. Apart from the Mini clutch I had to bleed and putting some snazzy new track wheels on for RDR!
