Dried superglue in Ariel hole..

Right seems like the guy who owned the clio before me decided to superglue the wrong ariel on and someone broke it off recently.

But now I can't obviously get the new one in.. Any ideas? Will I need a whole new unit?

Thats a bugger of a job...Roof liner off iirc? May be wrong. Happened on my old 1.2

Just attempted this, but the glue seems pretty thick, was hoping it would just pick out.. Any ideas?

surely a tap and die set would work... just re-thread it through the glue, which will break the glue up.

thats what I would do anyway.

+1 . If it's only glue in the hole a tap should sort it no problem .

Its pretty thickly set.. Just the ariel i have is a new one aswell, so thread is new. I bought some superglue remover to try out, couldn't find that de-bonder stuff.

Will try removing some of it then rethreading. Cheers!
