Drilling a hole in the bulkhead for amp

Iv ad enough of trying to get that amp wire through that tight as a ducks arse grommet, and im now contemplating drilling a hole in the bulk head, is this a good idea?

i opted for multiple runs of a smaller gauge wire rather than one large one.("borrowed" some 10mm2 from work )

it may be easier to do that way if you can get the cable.

i couldnt get a fibre optic strand through that bas*ard grommet

yeh drill through, i did with mine. its so much easier. although dont the 182s have soundproofing? that might make it tricky finding the cable on the engine side :S. just take your time and dont drill into anything on the engine side

azzer2000 why did you want a fibre cable through out of interest?

lol, i did it through that grommet finally, i was quite easy in the end

What did you do different that made it so easy then?
