Drilling into the bulkhead!

Just random question, if needed fixing points for items in the engine way what are the does and don't as far as drilling into the bulkhead are concerned! Didn't know if it could damage wiring in the dash if you went deep enough. Stuff like that

Potential is there to cause damage to wiring if you go mental, just pierce the metal and no more and you will be fine, take care around the heater box as it contains water in the heater matrix. Rivet nuts are a good solution for securing things in sheet metal with bolts
