Dripping sound from rear

Was under car sorting something on my exhaust and i have noticed something strange, when the car has been running and it is then turned off you can hear a dripping sound coming from somewhere underneath the car at the rear, but i cannot locate where! Is this normal. I wondered whether it might be the fuel tank or something similar?

it's your exhaust contracting as it cools back down mate, nothing to worry about.
