Drive shaft help

Gita new drive shaft for my clio sport 16v 172 on a 2000 plate drivers side but found it is a different shaft the original is a straight shaft and the new one is like a two piece with a bearing will I be able to fit if I get the bearing mount or does anyone have one cheers

Do you have a 172 Cup? The single piece shaft is normally used on these where the two piece is the 172/182 unit and requires a bearing carrier which is bolted to the back of the block

Yes it's a cup so if I get the bearing carrier it will work , also do you know where I can get one

Yes it will work but I'd just send it back and get the right shaft
