Drivers side electric window won't work

Car  Breaking A 172 Replica
Just bought a new car and the drivers side electric window won't work.

There is a click from the left hand side of dash (UCH I think) as there is when all electric stuff is activated but the window doesn't move at all.

Any advice?

Thanks

Sam

what you bought mate?

slammed the door recently?take the door card off and check the connections to the switch, may be slightly dodgy connection, the UCH may click but this could prevent it from working?

I bought the car on Saturday.

Yeah there was a spare fuse in the drivers door holder when I bought the car...

How much would Renault charge to supply and fit a new fuse?

No there is no noise I am 95% sure wiper isn't working.

I was going to remove door card and have a look but then I thought as the UCH is responding it much be wired up properly

Thanks for you help, any more would be appreciated

what engine is in it??

wiring could be a start if the fuse is ok but there is no noise?

Mine did this i could control the passenger side window from the drivers side but the drivers side wouldnt work, it was the fuse that had gone simple. Check all your fuses!

Yeah I can control the passenger side from the drivers.

I am pretty sure its the fuse by the sounds of it.

I just need a fix now

How do I locate the fuse for the window?

Where do I get fuses from?

Thanks

Sam

any motor factor will sell the fuse, look in your manual to tell you which fuse in particular but iirc the fuse box is on the passenger side on the dash where the door meets it.panel removes

Youve got the manual?
Have a look in there and have a look what the size of the fuse should be
iirc its a 10.

How will I know it is blown?

I am not sure it is in there!

I will get some pics up in the morning

Thanks

Sam

if the fuse is blown the metal across the fuse will not be touching insted of this ------- itll be --- ----- and may well be black from blowing
