Drivers side front seat won't tip forward

Went to let someone in my car this morning, lifted the handle to tip the seat forward and nothing happened, I've just quickly checked it over and it looks like the cable has snapped.

Does anyone know what this cable is called, and where's the best place to get a replacement??

Has anyone else had this problem (I've heard it's a common fault) and if so is it easy enough to fit a new one

Well i've just got off the phone now, rung my local Autoparts who cant supply the part & tried my scrappy who will only sell the seat as a whole.

I've rung my Renault dealer been qted £24 inc VAT for the part then an additional £171 to fit the cable, nearly fell off my chair laughing
