I park in an underground spot where the auto lights kick in on arrival.
On Friday night, I noticed it looked a bit dark from the drivers seat. I got out and saw that only the passenger side xenon headlight was on. I did the silly, obvious thing of tapping the headlight unit a bit, but the drivers side was definitely still off.
I switched off the car and when I came back to it yesterday - the lights both worked again? I don't think the drivers light going off the day before was a 'one off' - and I'm thinking something is on its way out.
Is there a process to check the components that go into a xenon headlight unit? Is there a part that normally fails more often than others?
Cheers.
