Drivers subframe

Has anyone got pictures of a Clio driver side subframe?

Prefferably without height adjustment

On my passenger seat I have sliders, then "side mounts" and the seats mount to the side mounts.

on my drivers side I have height adjustable seat so its a completely different makeup. I need the "side mounts" for a drivers side seat so I can modify it like my passenger seat subframe to fit my new seats

Ahhhhh makes sense now.

Thought i had a decent pic of the underside of a Clio seat but i didn't sorry. There pretty much the same tho as i recall, the trendlines are not side mounted they have a seatbase that is connected to what look like side mounts that just attach to clio sliders

Yeah I know hence I've modified the side mounts on my seat :)

basically I've put angle iron across the seat from rail to rail so the seats can sit on them.

that was easy on my passenger seat but because of the height adjustment on the drivers seat it's not possible

Height adjustment on the clio seats is not a part of the sliders. It's integrated in the seat itself. Thought about sliders for your Megane from a LHD car (LHD passenger => RHD driver)?

Yeah same as my megane by the sounds of things :(

have thought about it but where do I get one from? Plus I know pauper hatchbacks had no height adjustment but can't find any for sale

ebay.de / ebay.fr + google translator ;)

EDIT: If the height adjustment is in the standard seats, why do you need other sliders then? Recaros Trendlines won't have height adjustment afaik.

Basically the seats on the megane mount to " side mounts" (bits of metal sticking upright bolted horizontally through the seat) which are then bolted to the sliders. What I've done Is mounted some angle iron across from side mount to side mount so I have a flat surface to bolt the seats to. Job done for the passenger side.

with the drivers side it's the same principle only the seat isn't bolted to side mounts its bolted to a hinge mechanism to get the height adjustment. I don't need height adjustment I'd be happy with 2 subframes exactly the same only for a different side

so to do that I need to scrap the hinge mechanism for some side mounts. The side mounts however are handed to mount the seatbelt to them so passenger side side mounts are no good for the drivers side.

Yeah but I can't find any lol.

i have seen another idea on here from one of the French Clio owners which is welding a piece of steel across the car then mount the sliders to the metal and the seats job done. Easier to find some steel than some Lhd frames lol

When I say base spec I mean from cars with no a/c electrics etc.

but being French even some of them have height adjustment :(

might try the idea I seen on here tbh
