Driveshaft, 172.

Im trying to get hold of a 172 drivers side driveshaft from anywhere apart from renault, everywhere i go they are saying that its a renault only part. I have tried GSF, Euro Car Parts and a number of my usual sources but to no avail does anyone else have any ideas?

(Lunner i tried GSF and they said they only stock upto 98)

renault are £170 a shaft which is a joke, j3ned will be second hand wont it, being that he runs a breakers yard? Since the almighty build quality and bargain basement parts that renault offer with mine lasting 26K id prefer a new one!!

Fred the gaitor went on mine the only boot listed at my local trade shop is the wrong one, plus it will be an absolute pig to fit, thats why im thinking new!!

just buy the gaitor kit from renault for £16-£20, and pay a garage to do it???

its not THAT hard to do

j3ned supplys new parts too, for less money than renault, not just second hand!!! hes a clever boy is our matthew!!
