Driveshaft/CV Boot Warranty?

Just noticed today that the boot on the drivers side has either split or came away causing the grease t go all over the inside of my alloy,wishbone,brakes etc.Must have happened in the last couple of days,had noticed a 'clicking/creaking' noise on full right hand lock but this has been doing for the last week or two.I know it wasn't split a week ago because I cleaned the car and would have noticed it.The question is the car is 2 and a half years old so still under warranty and got 15k on so is it covered?

It should be covered. depends how exactly its failed damaged boot or failed clip(as it often is).

I've got it booked in for Wed but I'm going to get it jacked up over the weekend and take a good look.

Failed clip and £25.85 for the job!
Wouldn't cover it under warranty as it was 'wear and tear'!!!
