Driveshaft replacement

Rite ppl i need your help!. Im sick to death of my car atm.

i had my driveshaft replaced bout a month ago as the car was knocking when turning right. however the knocking is still there and my abs light comes on after a while. Also the speedo reading is inaccurate ie when it says im doing 50mph its actually only bout 30mph.

Just been to my local garage again who had fitted me another driveshaft, i thought thank f*ck at last itll be fine.Nope it still does exactly the same as ive said above.

I made sure i had the correct part because i gave them my VIN number off my car and they matched one to a car they had there( bg motors down south).

Any help would be very much appreciated as im seriously sick of my car atm!

wat sort of knocking noise is it making? and does it only happen wen u turn corners?

the knockin only happens when i turn the steering wheel to the rite with a bit of power.Also It doesnt do it on full lock???. its really p*ssin me off and im jus so fed up with it!

the knock comes from both sides or the drivers side

mileage??? i'm going to place a £1 bet that its worn antiroll bar bushes (especially if lowered)

arb bushes will be the knock, dodgy wheel bearing will be the ABS and speedo issue.

ok thanks for the replies. it only knocks on the drivers side. mileage is just 41,000 .The car was lowered 60mm before i had it (had to have original springs put back on due to not being able to get up drive). Had a wheel bearing replaced this time last year. Funny thing is tho the speedo and ABS light only f*cked up when the driveshaft was replaced.

the ABS ring will have been damaged by incorrect fitment.

thanks for all the replies fellas. any idea how much its gonna cost to fix it?. i dont wanna take it to renault. I live in staffordshire, any1 recommend any good garages nearby who knw wat theyre on about as regards to renault?

adrian wilson in leek are really good and do all the work on my car. independant renault specialists with full CLiP diagnostics, and dont charge too much either.

you sure you got the right driveshaft?they use two different one's for the abs one has double the amount of teeth on so would explain why your speedo's reading double.
