Are the J&R ones from eBay rated on the 1*2's? Used them on my old VTS and had no issues, but I've heard people mock them previously. If yes, never mind, if not, where do people get theirs from? I can't imagine everyone pays top dollar for the oem replacement part?

Don't forget with the official Renault ones, you get credit back for returning your old driveshafts back to them. They are still expensive items in their own right - but speaking to the parts desk at the dealership near here, you have 7 working days to return the old items and get a partial refund.

Why? I've no idea. I can't imagine that they are laced with rare earth minerals or anything.
