Dropped allen key down the vent

Changing the tax disc in an alloy holder the other day. Was trying not to drop the screw down the vent. Ending up dropping the allen key instead. Feck.

So is it lost forever or is their a way of getting it back?

Take the dash top off.

if you can get a magnet on the end of a stick, use that. (although, not sure how magnetic the allen key is)

other wise, its dash off i'm afraid.

How far down does the vent go. The cars been driven since so would the allen key move about the vent?
