Same on mine mate! if id have known they were guna be like that id have had them smoothed in!

i am going to smooth mine into the base plates good i am not to bad with the fibreglass "luckly" it is a little annoying to say the least tho

I know, i was quite pissed off when i saw the gap! Dont understand how they designed them so poorly.
