Dual CPU benchmarking

From my post last week, got my dell precision 530 yesterday and installed windows 2003 server on it, as I prefer that to XP.

Just wondering if anyone knows some good SMP benchmarking programs.

Was going to compare results with a member on here but can't remember who.

Only thing that has annoyed me about it is the fact that the USB controller is only USB1 so my external hard drive is pretty useless for the amount of stuff I wanted to transfer between it

Other than that seems rather rapid

can you not plug in a usb pci card into it to give you usb2?

Yea I could do, am just thinking of installing a sata card instead as i'll be using that machine as a workhorse, so needs plenty of storage.

Won't need USB then

Only bought the enclosure as I wanted to get use out of a 300gb sata drive i was given.

I've found my external drive real useful for getting data to various destinations. I'd struggle without it!

Internal SATA would be quicker and better as you said.
